The Anthropolgie website is one of my personal favorite sites. Not only do they have interesting, innovative designs, but the site is really user friendly as well. I am mostly drawn to the site because of the design style used. The design is very eloquent, which coincides with the type of clothing they sell. The most intriguing part of the website is that you can choose how many items at a time to view. For example, you can choose to view all shirts, or just long sleve, short, etc. This is helpful for the shopper to shop quickly, and it is also beneficial to the company, since with the site's easy access people may be willing to purchase more. They created all of these options by creating several differnt links and then linking them all together.

This website is great because it is interactive. They allow you to listen to the day's radio broadcasts as well as several archival broadcasts. Since it is linked to the entire NPR website (http://www.npr.org/) it is a little difficult to navigate, especially if you start at the NPR homepage. It is a good thing that they can fit so much into their website; however, this makes navigation sometimes confusing. Overall, the site is successful. It has great design and is fully function. The one real problem I have with it is when trying to open a radio broadcast to listen to, it opens a totally new window. I would prefer the broadcast to come from the window already open. Just a minor issue I have with the sight, overall it is a really great site.

Infinity art studio has one of the best websites I have accidentally stumbled upon. When you enter, there is a flash video, which takes up the entire screen. It is kind of fuzzy and makes the sound of an un-tuned TV station. The site is really sleek and clean, easy to read and access all different aspects of it. My favorite part is definitely their use of flash on every example in their portfolio. The use the same effect they use at the beginning of their website. I appreciate how the site is unified like that. There is also a wheel at the bottom right and if you move your curser over it you can drag whatever image on the page currently to another location or position. I really enjoy the interactive, and entertaining qualities of this site.

The United Kingdom's Volkswagen website definitely trumps the United State's. The use of flash is really neat and creates a really fun and interactive website. For example, on the homepage, which is viewed above, by simply dragging the cursor over the car on the right, that becomes center and large, and the text moves left and minimizes. Also, it is neat how they made their links not so obvious. The phrase, "I want a new Volkswagen" is a link, which takes you to view new Volkswagen. Every sentence below is also a link, which takes you to the think it is describing. When viewing each type of car individually, there is a seperate image for each and every detail of the car. They scroll through as you move the cursor ove them as well. They probably did this by using flash and linking each picture together.

I think that initially I was mainly drawn to this website because of its fun and creative designs. Once I started exploring I realized that not only was it a great website because of it's design, but also because of it's functionality. Like the design, the site is simple. There are only five pull down links at the top. My favorite part is where you get a 'canvas', which is a picture of plain yogurt. And there are also images of all the toppings available called 'your palette' and you can decide what kind of desert you want to order before you even go to the store. The images were probably manipulated in photoshop and put into a flash creation, so that they could be interactive.
